Advisory Services

Engagements, not retainers

Every advisory engagement starts with a conversation to determine fit and define scope. We do not sell ongoing retainers with vague deliverables. Engagements have defined timelines, specific outputs, and measurable outcomes. When the work is done, the capability stays with your organization.

From assessment to operating capability

Most organizations that engage Ordovera for advisory work have already taken a readiness assessment or attended a workshop and identified specific gaps. Advisory engagements close those gaps: building the governance program, standing up the risk assessment process, developing the tools, or providing the ongoing strategic counsel that keeps both functions advancing together.

For organizations starting from scratch, we typically recommend beginning with a readiness assessment to establish a baseline. The assessment surfaces which advisory engagement makes the most sense for where you actually are, not where you think you are.

Built for mid-market reality

Enterprise governance programs assume dedicated teams, seven-figure budgets, and multi-year timelines. That is not most organizations. Our advisory work is designed for organizations with 500 to 5,000 employees that need governance and enablement capability without building an internal practice from scratch. We build the framework, train the team, and hand it over.

We also build things

Advisory does not have to mean advice. When an organization needs a custom assessment instrument, a governance dashboard, an internal AI tool, or reporting automation, we build it. The solutions development practice exists because the best governance framework in the world is useless if nobody can operationalize it.
